The Who-Dey - Whodunit
09/29/2007

This was The Who-Dey's first effort at making music.  It was made in jest, and not taken seriously as an actual work of music.  The album features Shmack, Tee, Pooch, Killa Kidd, C.C., and Smock.  The most popular song, "Never Touch", was written and recorded at Shmack's 15th birthday party in about an hour.  The song "Who Stole The Cookies" was featured on Myxertones.com (a popular ringtone website) for a month and accumulated over 1000 ringtone downloads.  The album is no longer available for download anywhere.  If you would like to obtain it, please contact us via the contact page.

The Who-Dey - Suburban Legend
11/27/2008

With this album, TWD started taking their music more seriously.  This is the first album that featured artists from outside the TWD family, as the group began collaborating online with artists from across the country (and one from the UK).  This album gave Shmack his first online radio air play when "Rain Down" was played on QSJ Radio.  The song "I Want You" impressed DJ Trafficlight and helped Shmack achieve Runner-up Underground Artist of the Year on QSJ Radio in 2008.

Shmack - Verus Scriptor
6/1/2009

Although Shmack had solo songs on the previous TWD albums, this was his first solo album completely separate from The Who-Dey.  This is a personal and reflective album that was well-received by fans. This was also the first time Nate Smock lended his guitar talents, as he performed a gutiar solo on the song "Always On Time."  The most popular songs among fans from this album are "My Name" and "Contents Under Pressure."  The title roughly translates to "true writer" in Latin.

Shmack - Elite Status
10/12/2009

Shmack's second solo work came just four months after his debut. Elite Status moved away from the personal lyrical content of "Verus Scriptor" towards a more lighthearted, laid back style.  Nate Smock is featured on the song "Roll It" but the most popular song by far from this album was "Chill Out".

Shmack - Perfect
5/17/2012

After a two year hiatus, Shmack released his fourth solo album in 2012.  This is a deeply personal album written over a tumultuous span of a year and a half.  This was the first album Shmack ever had professionally reviewed.  Andrew Maffettone, CEO of Booked Promotions gave the album 3/5 stars.  He criticzed some of the choruses, but went on to write, "This is a great hip-hop album, and I would have to say Shmack has some of the best rhymes in the hip-hop game right now.  The verses were all absolutely amazing and the words he couples together are impressive."  The founder of Cantora Records, Will Griggs, offered to pitch the song, "Love Nobody" to TV and film producers for use, but due to not owning the license to the beat, which was produced by Black Light Music, Shmack was unable to sign the contract.  Griggs quoted the song as "super hot" and added, "The song has great production, rhymes, energy, and tempo.  It has a full hip-hop delivery unlike many rap songs today.  It has some good messaging as well."  In January 2015, "Love Nobody" finished at #4 out of 123 entries in OurStage.com's monthly rankings, which are determined by voters, which marked Shmack's first ever top 10 finish in the rankings.
